Here are some of our pre-Christmas photos. Every year Edinburgh holds a Christmas fayre. In this picture you can see much of the amusements, including an outdoor ice rink, and a ferris wheel. In the background you can also see the Walter Scott monument and the Balmoral hotel.
This was kind of an interesting amusement they had. Basically they chuck the kids into these plastic balls (like hamsters) and let them run around in the balls on water. It looked fun! As you can see from Alyson's face and attire, it was quite cold that day.
Here are 2 of our American friends in the ward, and our own dear Christmas tree. (Artificial and only 3 ft tall). We had a wee Christmas party among friends before heading to Aberdeen, and then on to Salt Lake.
